Scrappage: Peter eats hat

And why?
On 22 April he suggested, on this very blog, that there was no way Nissan would agreed to offer £2,000 scrappage allowance on the Pixo city car.
Well, guess what:
That’s clipped directly from Nissan’s website, and clearly shows the Pixo is available with the £2,000 scrappage discount.
Just one thing, though. When Peter wrote his original blog, it was anticipated the not-an-Alto Nissan would start at just £5,995. But it’s finally gone on sale at £6,995.
Should we be suspicious? Perhaps. After all, the same page also reveals this:
Demonstrating that a £5,995 Pixo is available – if only as a “launch offer”. Hmmm.
